to drop the knife. So they sent three unqualified pansies? You and your friends were sent? My friends, unlike your hero cops, can go one on one with a bedridden 82-year-old and not use a weapon. You, not so much.

The supervisor at the scene was telling his boys to taser the old man because they have more important matters to tend to they don't have time for this . I guess the donuts were getting stale at the donut shop waiting for them?

I guess the donuts were getting stale at the donut shop waiting for them? That comment was reported by the old guy who got tasered. Funny that he heard that so clearly but could hear them telling him to drop the knife.

Funny that he heard that so clearly but could hear them telling him to drop the knife. Here Dave this was posted by someone else today, that mean's your brain washed also.. At the inquiry, Dr. Mike Webster who has worked with the police for over 30 years says that the police has been brainwashed by the taser manufacturer to justify ridiculously inappropriate use of the electronic weapon . The police have been conditioned that the only tool they have is the taser. When you think the only tool you have is a hammer, you begin to think the world is a nail. The police (Neanderthals) need to create a non threatening environment to diffuse crisis situations by using calm communication skills, and neutral body language. Instead they come in for a quick, simple, solution-tasering. The 82 year old hospital bed stricken man tasered by police in his hospital bed, recovering from heart surgery prior to the attack is just one more example of the police's abuse of their authority. The police have been conditioned that the only tool they have is the taser. When you think the only tool you have is a hammer, you begin to think the world is a nail. How have they been brainwashed like that? The police are trained in Use of Force and in accordance with the Use of Force Continuum. They are supposed to respond with the level of force appropriate to the threat they are facing. The only brainwashing they may have had would be about the safety of the taser.  Bear in mind that police are subject to prosecution for excessive use of force, and I think any cop who uses a taser inappropriately should be prosecuted. That being said, and in few of the Use of Force Continuum, neither the Vancouver airport incident or old Mr. Lasser are in violation on that.
