Projection HD 1080i, 63 and I am really enjoying it.  I have had no problems so far.  When I have a signal that is 1080i (basically only blue ray which I have with my PS3) 740i is the signal I get most of the time with my HD TV stations and the picture is REALLY nice.  The sound sucks BIGTIME, but if you have surround you will not use the sound anyway. The wife is probably wrong. I own two large plasmas. I have a 50 Pioneer 1080i that is 2 years old and wonderful. I watch that one from about 8 feet away and wouldn't want a 42 . I just bought a 58 Samsung 1080p that I watch from 10 feet away. The Panasonic 58 was my preference, but I got a smoking deal on the Samsung so price swayed me. Both Panasonic and Samsung get good reviews at avsforum.com. When you mount them on the wall bigger seems to be better.
