If I were borderline in her wrap dresses (I'm thinking the original simple V-neck wrap long sleeve Julie _style_ here), I'd go up, especially if particularly busty. If not so busty and her hips are in porportion to her bust (not a pear bottom or an apple middle), then I'd personally go with her regular size, *but* I highly recommend trying them on (if not possible, buy from somewhere that has a good return policy). I think one should really try some on to get a feel for how they fit, because MWV on this. Others find they run small, but for me, they don't feel like they run all that small. If it's DVF's silk jersey, maybe yes (she also makes poly matte jersey wraps and those will be hotter yet), if hot isn't over 85° or if one is working inside in AC. If it's really hot and humid out, then I wouldn't wear a long sleeved one in summer if I had to be outside for any length of time (a sleeveless or short sleeve wrap dress, yes). She does make a sleeveless and short sleeve wrap Julie _style_ some years, not only a long sleeve _style_. HTH I concur that you should try to find a shop that carries her dresses and try them.  I was absolutely lusting after one of her dresses which I saw on line.  I am so glad I tried it.  I found that I needed one size up from my normal size. I think her dresses, in general, are cut to hug the body pretty closely.  So if you like looser clothes you'll need a bigger size than you would normally buy.  Some of her dresses are pretty short too

Hi, Does anyone have any advice regarding buying and wearing Diane von Furstenberg wrap dresses? Are they a god buy? If the wearer is a borderline UK size 10/12, which size would be the most flattering to wear?  As it's a wrap dress is there much extra material which means you could comfortable fit into a size 10 without worrying about bursting out, or would the size 12 be a safer bet? Their sizes are all US sizes, so a UK size 12 is a US size 8, right? Also, the material says jersey - will this be cool enough to wear on hot days? Thanks for your help, Dave wrap dresses are designed to be tight so they are form fitting and figure flattering and sometimes depending on your natural figure, shows some clevage. must wear and try them on for them to fit properly.  i own several wrap dresses and are very delicate in terms of wraping the dress when wearing.  if not properly fitted or too tight, the stress will pull or tear or loosing the tie (s) and thus render the dress unwearable unless one is good at sewing and mending. tina
