red dresses Red BM dress + ?? Colour Flowers

The BM dresses are red. Like a blood red, not bright but not dark. My dress is white. Their shoes are silver. For BM flowers I would really like the following colours: red (only a few) orange purple cream white (maybe??) All will be roses except the purple will be something else. What do you think? Other suggestion I've had was creams. But...cream does not match my dress and white clashes with their red dresses. Thanks Stef to John 6 Nov 99

Stef, White does not clash with red, they actually look good. If you want to use ceam flowers, go ahead. The bridesmaid's bouquet don't have to match your dress... that's Bridezilla whispering into your ear... smack her away! You can use creams, whites, and ivories together. My own personal tastes lean toward using less different colors in their bouquets, because the shade of red you describe is so beautiful on its own. Deep purple looks stunning with deep red. Maybe a deep purple filler flower like monkshood, delphinium, or statice with cream or white roses? I must agree. The multi shades of white and cream would look very nice up against red. Definitely take a swatch. You could work in some stunning different greenery for more dimension. There are lots of really cool greenery types out there for someone who doesn't mind it. I personally love some of the types of greens available. Seeded eucalyptus and snow on the mountain is both very pretty. And yes, please, no orange.
