If I'm closing the sliding doors manually on my 2002 T&C - is there a preferred way to do this?  I've noted you can simply slam the door closed, or close the door very slowly until its nearly closed.  At this point the closing mechanism seems to take control and closes the sliding door the final few inches in a gentle manner. Does it really matter?  I've read the book a number of times and nothing is mentioned about manually closing the two sliding doors.  My concern is when passengers just slam the door closed are they possibly damaging the door mechanism. thank you.
