I fish the banjo minnow and it does catch fish. I have my own rig that uses a 'Tag-a-Long' and an Eagle weedles hook, but the banjo minnow bodies are realy good. My best fish to date is a 20 in large mouth on Swan Lake, MN

I've fished the Banjo Minnow, and under certain conditions it works, as does many other soft jerk baits. My brother-in-law swears by them, I took him fishing in early summer when the bass were hitting everything from gum rappers to pop cans and anything else you could tie to a line. If you want it buy it and stack it up with the flying lure, helicopter lure, and the rest. My suggestion, stick the old traditionals that work, spinners, worms, and crankbaits, and spend your time learning more about fishing for bass. There's no such thing as the great secret bait out there.
