LOL The only time that bothers me is when they use those lovely linen serviettes to do so. Don't they have a hanky? My sympathies are with the restaurant staff who have to deal with the soiled napkins. It's not the same as food stains. If it is just those paper serviettes, well that's not so bad, although it is not exactly hygenic. They're disposable. One needn't even touch them. We all have our little idiosyncranicies. Annette

I have never made any connection to my diabetes. A few years ago I heard our favorite diva, Oprah, say that she thought it was very rude for someone to blow their nose in a restaurant. If I could have I would have asked her at the time what she wanted people like you, my wife who experiences the same thing, and I should do; let it just run down our faces. Annette And that, my friends is only one of the ways that colds are spread. I always carry a handkerchief. Whatever napkins I use at a restaurant I take the time to roll up into a wad with the used side turned inward when I am done. That way the person that buses the table does not have to come in direct contact with any cold germs that may have been on my hands or mouth when I used the napkin.
