I am looking for information on Johann Christoph Lohnert, born circa 1711, died 22 Dec 1786 at Eysoelden, near Nurmbery, Bavaria.  He was in the military, a Husar; German records states Fuerstlicher Ansbachischer Amts Husar; des Ober- Amts Stauf .  Can someone tell me how to look up military records.   His son Johann Stephan Lohner was b Dec 3 1750, died 16 Dec 1788 at Eysoelden.  I do not have the name of Johann's wife.  I'm new at German research and would appreciate any suggestions.  Thanks.
