Hello my name is Tim and I'm an alcoholic.  I've been in recovery going on 9 months and I made a geographical move about a month ago,  and since then I havent been able to make any meatings so I thought untill I get to drive again or get to know people in program I'd give this a try. I'm also new to this whole internet thing and you talk about frustrating

Welcome to araa, Tim. Glad to have you around... but we are not a substitute for meetings and in fact many of the posters here do not belong to AA. Some are creating sensationalism to sell their books and some may or may not have many thousands of dollars invested in alternative recovery franchises that are not doing so well. You may want to avoid being a part of their advertisements. Grab a coffee and a cookie and relax... some of the others will be along shortly. ralph

I recently had the opportunity to move out of my area. toughest thing to do was to get to local meetings. Call your local AA for a ride. There are people who NEED to take someone to meetings.
