letter to recommend a teacher Help. My District is blackballing me.  
It's not too late to get a job.  I just interviewed at 11 districts, and only one asked to see ANY evaluations. Tara I suspect there are still some interviews going on in our district too. Summer hiring was greatly delayed by legislative action/inaction.

It's not too late to get a job.  I just interviewed at 11 districts, and only one asked to see ANY evaluations. Tara I suspect there are still some interviews going on in our district too. Summer hiring was greatly delayed by legislative action/inaction. Yes they are still interviewing for hard to fill postions (sped, math, etc) and they are already accepting apps for next school year.  According to the website that is.  Oh, and they are offering that whopping $2000 sign on bonus. website that is.  Oh, and they are offering that whopping $2000 sign on bonus. Sue in Vegas My district also has positions open-although the board will be voting on a budget which would remove about 200 positions district wide, so I don't know if they're hiring or not. My school needs a part-time music teacher (I'm currently teaching 36 sections, when I'm supposed to have a max of 28), but I haven't seen any signs that we're getting one.
