: :i never knew dosnajh to be anything other than what one would least :expect a politician to be- but if you dont hail from BC, you wouldnt :believe me.

osanjh's only motive here is, and always was- to be credible. :There have been attempts to bribe him, to control him, and these :attempts have failed (my own memory is longer than the general public, :and can hold such detail). :The public memory doesnt know, or has forgotten, who first signed off on :the taser- but Dosanjh doesnt hide behind this memory loss, nor does he :attempt to blame anyone else. :Basically he says that like the Public, he too was deceived, and is less :than impressed by taser's presentation.

ublic opinion....i think that Dosanjh may be the most influencing :factor in this issue. We have countless problems with the Taser use in North America. The current (de-evolving) RCMP culture is just one of many problems within the police universe that must be addressed. Unfortunately, the RCMP is immune to the recommendations of this Taser Comittee and rarely follows any outside bodie's recommendation unless they feel it's convenient or benefits them. As far as Dosanj goes, I think a lot of people are unhappy with Dosanj's candort, not only about this issue but in general. He's not playing the political game as well as his other counter-parts. For the most part, he's got morals, integrity, and common-sense. I fear that his honestly will harm him in one day if he stays in politics. We need Dosanj as Prime Minister. He can definitely improve things unlike the monkeys we have in office now. By being PM, he would have police protection. The taser manufacture has already influenced the commission. We're Canada and we're nothing like those American's...we're complacent. Tasers are here to stay and their use, at best, will only be marginally reduced.
