Hello! I have a map of the Middle East/North Africa, and some of the countries are hard to see on it. I would like to make it so that every country has a mouse-over. For instance, when the mouse goes over Egypt, Egypt changes to white, and the word Egypt changes from black to red. Then the same would happen for the UAE, Tunisia, and so on and so forth. Is this possible? Absolutely, if the map was drawn in a vector application and imported as vectors into Fireworks. If it is a bitmap, you can trace the shapes with the various drawing tools and then choose Insert Hotspot to create an imagemap for the outline of each country. I'd like to see your work. My Mother in Law has been involved with mission and education work among the deaf since the early 1960's throughout central and west Africa.
