i'm 19 and am wondering how much electrolysis i'm going to need.  i have no real beard and i never need to shave.  i was getting mistaken for a girl before i started doing anything.  but recently i have started useing tweezers for what little hair i do have.  well... how efective are tweezers? i'm still waiting to start HRT and was wondering if it would help stop more hair from coming in, or possably even make some of the lighter hairs go away. what should i do?

HRT, assuming it includes spiranolactone to suppress testosterone, will indeed stop more beard hair from coming in and may, YMMV, cause a reduction in body hair.  It will not cause a reduction in beard hairs. to a change in growth of the hair- not sure how true that is though. Don't know how true this is either but I have heard that plucking can cause root distortion and an increase in ingrown hairs. Debs
