I'm wondering how many women have experience with the depoprovera shot, and how did it impact your migraines? any side effects? I know the shot contains no estrogren, and I'm not allowed estrogen-containing birth control due to basilar migraines. Anne

I know people who have taken it for endometriosis, and I'm not sure I would recommend it. You may want to check out some sites in regards to endometriosis, because they will give you side effects. A friend of mine took it and bled for three months. I'm sure some people have taken it and been fine, but in researching treatments for my own endometriosis, I'd be very hesitant to take that. Keep in mind I'm not sure how it differs in treatment for migraines, but for Endo it is an absolute nightmare: http://www.abcinternetmarketing.com/depo-provera/
