I'm going to the National Student Leadership Confrence on International Diplomacy this summer coming up. I was wondering if anyone can recommend anything to see in any of these cities. Diplomacy... from the guy who advocated bombing Chinese refugee ships? Our future is doomed... Curt in WPG

I'm going to the National Student Leadership Confrence on International Diplomacy this summer coming up. I was wondering if anyone can recommend anything to see in any of these cities. Washington Navy Yard, excellent place. From the Trieste to the USS Barry, a new museum I haven't seen yet on the Cold War, etc. Very good place. Highly recommend it. Baltimore has the Torsk, the Roger B. Taney, and assorted other ships. I'm not real fond of the people who run the inner harbor ships, but the stuff itself is nice. Chris Manteuffel ...the war situation has developed not necessarily to Japan's advantage... -Emperor Hirohito, August 14, 1945 Remove something from email address

(Adam Yoshida) arranged electrons in an arbitrary pattern familiar to all as: I'm going to the National Student Leadership Confrence on International Diplomacy this summer coming up. Well, as somneone who asked this question a few weeks ago, and subsequently took some of the advice, then I can recommend the Constellation -very informed staff, I didn't have time to visit Torsk or Annapolis as was also suggested, but (on a slightly different note) the B&O Railroad museum is well worth a visit if tha tickles your fancy at all..

The Cutter Taney is interesting in that it had an extremely long and varied career. It was one of the vessels that managed to get underway soon after Pearl Harbor was bombed
