Howdy! Oh, we've known about the Quilter's Chocolate for years; the main reason we keep M&Ms in business. But we were speaking of Cadbury and Hersheys, which tend to leave crumbs when munching. At any RCTQ meet-up, there will be at least one quilter handing out M&Ms. I stocked up on the Dulce de Leche M&Ms a few months ago; still have some left in the stash, after sending out several samples. The originals are still the best! Ragmop Sheryl <

And the Red Cross hasn't gotten any better since WW-II, BBL. They pull the same nasty stunts over and over, only back down when people scream loud enough, and then want more money the next time. I don't give money to the Red Cross. Nor do we. Same reasons. Plus in recent emergencies here the Red Cross has declined offered donations of anything other than money. When there was a rash of apartment fires recently people were offering houses and apartments. The Red Cross declined them and insisted all the victims stay in their unpleasant shelter (a school gym). The Red Cross said they'd accept only money. People here don't have a lot of money, but they had lots else to offer, which was all rejected. Nor do we give them blood. There used to be only one blood bank in our state. Then the red cross came in and put theirs in the same city. The local blood bank supports our Alaska which is an area the size of 20% of the contiguous states and has no roads. The Red Cross ships blood to places like California which is heavily populated with potential donors. Carol

They use Civitan and another organization out of eastern Mississippi and get the blood at almost half the cost as RC. Monica L. Tittle
