I found glass bottles in Toys R Us in the USA and in London Drugs in Canada. The Gerber and Heinz juices also come in bottles which have teh same sized neck as a regular baby bottle and you can use a sleeve and nipple on them Cath

Being a home-brew beer maker, I am accustomed to using only glass for the best possible sanitary control. I was not aware that certain elements in breast milk actually adhere to glass. Plastic usually has lots of nooks and crannies that prohibit sanitation. Thanks, Carl

I have heard this assertion stated over and over with no evidence or citation to back it up.  Just from a common sense point of view I find it difficult to believe.  I will have to treat it as just another urban myth until I see some solid evidence that shows this is more than someone's imagination.
