So ve been playing nothng but Champions of Norrath on my PS2. It's not the greatest, it's just one of those things where once you've invested x amount of hours into it, you HAVE to finish it. It's basically a D & D knockoff from the Everquest people, think of it as an offline Everquest I guess. As addictive as this is, I could only imagine how more addictive something like proper Everquest would be, with all the human interaction to go along with the AI characters. I'm stuck, I can't kill the queen ant, I'm finally gonna cheat and look for some online walkthough What are some other good RPG or adventure/RPG type (no first person please, they make me nausious) games on the PS2.  I can't play that last Final Fantasy as I have the new impoved no HD possible PS2. How about PS2 online, do you have to pay for some and some games are free, or all pay_style_? STRATEGY

What are some other good RPG or adventure/RPG type (no first person please, they make me nausious) games on the PS2.  I can't play that last Final Fantasy as I have the new impoved no HD possible PS2. i knew that when i bought half-life 2 i was going to be throwing 60 bucks down the drain because fps make me nauseous too, but i couldn't resist. the game's been out for awhile now and i don't think i played more than 40 mins (at which point i started feeling nauseous). only solution, i gave it to my bro a couple of weeks ago. i mostly play old 2d games and shoot 'em ups but if you like action/adv games you should check out god of war. shit looks real nice and i read some good reviews about it. check out the trailers... http://gametrailers.com/gamepage.php?id=498 as far as adv/rpg i only really fuck with zelda nowadays but the next one isn't coming till years end.

isn't coming till years end. on that note:  I gave up on Zelda when the camera action on Zelda 64 barfed me out. I'm worse than most people who have the problem at all, I suspect. Certain racing games get me too. Incidentally, Across the boards, watching someone play affects me twice as fast as actually playing myself STRATEGY

STRATEGY Even thouh Champions of Norrath is _base_d in the Evercrack universe the PS2 version of the game is pretty much a clone of Balduer's Gate I and II for the PS2.  Both are similar top down action RPG/Adventure games that are all clones of Diablo I and II for PC.  Diablo created the action RPG genre of killing stuff, leveling, killing more stuff, getting new items, and killing more stuff.  Also, there's a new Norrath game out called Champions:  Return to Arms which is just like Norrath with more levels and items.  Both Champion games are online and free to play.  Online games are only fun if you're playing with like minded people. You might want to also try Dynasty Warriors 4 or 5.  Not quite D&D, but you fight through armys to level up, get new items, bodyguard, and stuff.   Very addictive.
