Not only that, it appears that I can buy this phone for $9.95 now, and just forget it until I'm ready to hit the road. Then I just buy (and redeem) a card, and hit the road. Unless I'm missing some important detail that will bite me in the ass, this looks like almost exactly what I was looking for a year ago. So, where are the assbiters (overlooked holes) in this? bill. I think that the hole is you must renew your card every 60 days or they forget your phone number. Look at; http://forums.thathomesite.com/forums/load/saving/msg0108485226292.html for more info. I ended up with Verizon after a year with Sprint. The main reason being is that they have 800MHZ analog service. (along with digital) Vince
