DH just told me that the postage is going up by one cent tomorrow, March 12. in the USA.  So he's ordering some stamps online, with the xtra 1 cent stamps to go along with it. Just buy the forever stamps, you'll never have to worry how much postage actually is.

PS - My Chessie cat would lick stamps all day if possible.  She dearly loves  to lick and play with anything sticky - a piece of scotch tape is better than a new catnip mouse. LOL, ever put scotch tape on her the bottom of her feet and plop her gently onto a bare  floor?  It's really funny and it doesn't hurt them at all. I tried that once on one of my cats a LONG time ago <G He didn't speak to me for a weeK.  His name was Foozle, and he went to da Bridge at age 18 about 10 years ago. Kyla

I can't help thinking your DH is mistaken.  I haven't heard anything about it, and they usually publicize it for at least a couple of weeks ahead of time.  Besides, it just went up a few months ago.  And it never goes up by just one cent any more. Joy He was, on the date, but not the price. Well, the stamps are going to be raised by ONE cent on MAY 12 (not March)  2008, we ordered a packet of the 41 cents and an equal # of the one cent ones.  We ordered 'Flowery' 41 cent'rs. And the 'one cent' ones have Tiffany lamps on them. But they charge a dollar for postage and handling. Oh well. The few 41 cent ones I have now are of a stained glass window.
