I need suggestions. So far, I've purchased a lap _frame_ (K's Creations), stained it, varnished it, decalled it, and it looks marvelous.  I have a lamp I bought at Office Depo with a daylight bulb (does anyone know the difference between daylight and true spectrum bulbs?), and I've actually used both.  (Beading Celtic Christmas on it right now).   But I can't seem to find a place that I feel comfortable stitching!   If this keeps up, I don't know what I'm gonna do with my stash!!!!!!!!!!  Because I have had so much S.E.X. since I discovered this stitching thing two months ago to take me through the next millenium!   so... please ... By 'a place to stitch' what exactly do you mean?  An area?  A chair?  If it's a chair I highly recommend a highback desk/office chair.  Love mine. And I'm no longer getting the hip/muscle problems I've had in the past with my upholstered swivel chair.

Liz      I am not quite clear if you mean physically comfortable, or psychologically comfortable.  If it is the latter, then you have a *real* problem;  you need to feel comfortable stitching *anywhere*.  If it is physical. then presumably you need a better chair.

Sounds like you have all the right toys (lap _frame_, Ott lite, etc.)  I have my own little corner of my bedroom dedicated to my stitching.  That way I have fewer interruptions and it is a cozy setting.  The chair I use is a Queen Anne _style_ chair which has a high straight back.  I also have a matching ottoman so I can have my feet up.  I have a table next to my chair with a lamp attached so I can swing it over my head and have direct light on my work.  The chair is in front of my bedroom window so if it is a sunny day, I can use the sunlight and not have to turn my lamp on.  Hope you find the perfect place to stitch because that is as important as having the right tools.
