mileage rate for 2007 Standard Mileage Expense in Profit & Loss report
Hello, I just began using quickbooks pro. I manually entered all the mileages for business trips. However, It seems that profit & loss report isn't including standard mileage expense. How can I make quickbooks automatically include the standard mileage in Profit & Loss report? Or, is it possible at all? Thanks

my vehicles in both the appropriate expense sub-accounts per vehicle and totals them in the main expense account they are under; whenever a P&L report is run. I had to create those accounts when I set up my previous versions; the were translated to every new version I upgraded too... I think everyone here *except* the 'consultant' has the same experience with the program; IIRC Mileage was a QB default roster account; even years ago... Possible you're doing/done something wrong??? report we're talking about??? Why would a common expense category NOT be represented in P&L reports??? Are you saying that QB2004 dropped Mileage as a common expense category default??? WHY IN HELL?????? Anyone else confirm what smells like Red Herring??? OP *never* mentioned any specific version BTW. I've heard they now include a specific mileage logging function; is it THAT poorly integrated into the product that P&L reports don't show mileage expenses any more...? If so it looks like they BROKE what was once working just fine! Tim K Allan Martin <
