Where do they come up with you people? That question right there is a window into the essence of the fundamental problem here. The soft left MSM - Time 4 million copies per week, Newsweek 3 million per week, U.S. News and World Report 2 million per week. Yeah well, hopeless ignorant liberal Al-Queda sympathizers don't read that much. I will not bow out of this discussion before it needlessly escalates and moves further from the discussion of coins. Yeah, let's get this turned back around to a discussion of religious icons and mottoes vis-à-vis coins and currency. 8) James the Pious

Only a fool or a child would read anything in the news without filtering it through the lens of healthy skepticism, regardless of the source. But since you limited your observation to the MSM, that suggests that you feel you don't need to apply a critical eye to what you get from Limbaugh, Savage, Fox, et al. Is everything from them the whole story and the utter gospel truth, oly? Perhaps you should have included Keith Olbermann, the New York Times and the Clinton News Network in your litany. <ahem ~Anka

Pardon me for asking, but I've not heard of the Clinton News Network. Is that the outfit that originates its programming in the eponymous town in Eastern Iowa, or something else? CNN has slanted editorialists. No doubt about it. As far as I can tell they present it as such. All of FOX News programming is presented as fair and balanced yet most of it is utter propaganda for an extremely narrow and conservative viewpoint. Most great conservatives in this country are as outraged at this horribe administration as are the tree hugging, dope-smoking, hippie, Al-Queda sympathizers. Yet, Fox News continues to report on the overall success of Iraq and how evil-doers and democrats want to stop Bush from spreading democracy. Every liberal on that show is extremely homely - e.g. Larry Colmes and Greta Van Susteren. To me, it looks quite calculated. Sean Hannity is an outright liar and a snide little twerp. He makes Rush Limbaugh look like the poster boy for truth and accuracy. I used to watch Bill O'Reilly but he has become a caricature of himself. I find it difficult to believe that most people can not see how disingenuine, transparent, and extremely biased FOX News is.

Any news program that uses Awful Ann Coulter and Pat Robertson for commentary cannot be trusted. JAM
