Ok guys, who has the scoop on what the best american football games are. I had a go at John Madden football on a sega megadrive recently. I was pretty impressed with it, and thought I could learn a lot about the basic football plays from it (I'm a New Zealander so I wasn't brought up playing american football). Then I wondered what other american football games are around, and how they compare. There has been some mention of Front page Sports in this group bu i don't know anything about it. If you have come across a game and have an opinion on it, please let us all know. Any responses mailed to me I will sumarise and post.  I'm keen to buy something but I'd like to get the best. John madden football lets you choose a set, formation and play and take some control over a relevant p_layer_ after the snap. Running backs can dive, spin etc and receivers can jump and dive, as can defensive p_layer_s. It has some basic stats and you can play two p_layer_ or against the computer. I'm thinking more of action type games where you actually control p_layer_s, rather than fantasy football software. points of interest include: platform: (PC, SUN, sega, nintendo etc) price: control over plays?: control over p_layer_s?: stats?: difficulty: (I'm not interested if I can whip the computer in a couple of weeks) general: comments on how realistic it is.                 thanks                         Mark Forsyth
