As it was, Miami was in this thing to the end. Jax's pass D looks very suspect at this point. Yea, they are 5-0, but the cracks are beginning to show. They were without their best CB on a night when they were stacking the run. Still, Deon figures led the team in tackles. He allowed a lot of catches, but was solid in making the tackle and not allowing Y-A-C. Either Miami has suddenly got better or Jax is still a wispy D. Miami recievers made some tough catches, unlike in previous weeks. This was the biggest reason for Miami's offensive success yesterday. The Jaguars scheme dared Marino and the WRs to make plays, and they did. Who here can tell me Jax isn not a better team with Taylor in and Stewart out? How about you, who a month ago said Taylor was a bust? Another case of Jax lucking out. If JS was healthy, Coughlin would still have him as the starter, and they would be less of a potent team. Tom must go by the credence of it's better to be lucky than smart. Yeah, Tom just got lucky that his #1 RB went down. Coughlin wasn't smart enough to take Taylor in the draft. Taylor just magically appeared on the end of the bench. How fortunate! Did you see Brakens lead with his helmet on that hit on Marino? Assdreass, shouldn't he be banned from the game now? All your crowing about enforcing those kind of hits should cause you to want Brakens banned from the game forever. Right, or are we going down the path of the land of hypocrisy again? That was backup safety Mike Logan. He will probably hear from the league office. Is it just me or were some of Jax cheerleaders kind of so-so? Perhaps the small market has less stunning beauties. They are selected for their ability to dance, not their facial beauty. Most have nice bodies and average faces. What does this have to do with football? Hollis stinks. Is there something in those two words some one doesn't understand? You wait, if Jax does nothing about this Jax will lose in the playoffs from a missed FG. I bet you it happens. In 4 years Mike Hollis has never cost the Jaguars a football game. Hollis has been instrumental in many Jaguar victories. That's why the coaches are willing to let him work through this slump. I think Jax is good, but if you let that 5-0 mark blind you to reality, don't come crying to me when reality hits. As MNF noted, their margin of winning is the lowest among the undefeated teams. A W is a W, but some cracks are showing. And during the course of a season, those cracks get exposed. Most of the cracks are due to losing starters to injury. Still, they keep winning, which is a mark of a good team. Without their top 2 RBs, they still set a team record for rushing yards in a game. Without their best WR, they still managed to shake Keenan free for the tying and winning TD passes. Good teams overcome adversity. Once again, for the unbelievable 4th out of 6 games, Jax gets to play a team without their starting QB up in Buffalo. I doubt any one keeps stats on it, but do you think any team has been lucky enough to play 4 out of 6 teams missing their starting QB? PGH has BLT, who will come out fighting hard I believe. Yeah, lucky. Jags get to play against a QB who was 23-28 for 213 yards, 0 INT, 2 TD last week. I would have been nice for Jax to go down last night, and Marino was driving for the tying score with 1:30 left before he was stripped. But, it didn't happen. But I must say, what I saw this week encourages me about PGH's chances once again. Yes, Pittsburgh's chances sure improved when the division leader went 2 games up on them instead of just 1. Enjoy the 5-0, it won't be long before you have to except some weaknesses pretty soon. Sure, someday we can expect some weaknesses to show up. We'll probably keep winning anyway. Jags are just lucky, I guess. With so many of you fans predicting 16-0, I still say that's not going to happen. KC said it this year, GB said it last year, and now the 16-0 talk is starting to come out of Jax. Once that happens, toast ville. For the record, you are the only one who has said anything about the Jags going 16-0. In fact you admitteed it was just a troll to see how many Jags fans would concur. Nice try, but childishly transparent, as usual.
