Good game. Miami stepped it up for this one, and a dormant offense came to life, as the damn stubborn JJ finally let Dan have a shot at winning a game. And it almost worked. Miami was one play maker away from winning the contest, IMO. Marino is stuck with one decent WR in OJ and a powder puff running game with Jabbar. If Miami had one other decent option to go to, I think it would have been the difference. As it was, Miami was in this thing to the end. Jax's pass D looks very suspect at this point. Yea, they are 5-0, but the cracks are beginning to show. I actually rooted for Jax to a point. I had them in my girls office pool and we had only missed 2 games this week (this pool doesn't use the spread). We missed out on the pot because the over all score was higher than I thought. I figured it would be Jax 28, Miami 13. (41 point total). The guy we were tied with had 45 as total points, so we lost out on $60! Who would have thunk that Miami offense would have it's way with Jax supposed awesome D? Coming into the game, Miami was the NFL's worst O. Cripes, the no name Jet D completely corralled this team. Their O really only scored 7 points on PGH's D, and they were on the field all day long. Either Miami has suddenly got better or Jax is still a wispy D. The difference was losing Dave Thomas in the first quarter, and putting in an awful Deon Figures. Pittsburgh can take him back any time now
