I've downloaded Google Earth and now in my XP Programme list I have it 3 times, Google Earth Google Earth in DirectX mode Google Earth in OpenGL mode and Uninstall Google Earth I'm no Computer expert can you tell me benefits of the 3 so I can use the best, please keep advise simple. If it is to do with graphic cards I do have a good one by Nvidia, 7600 in one Pc and 7900 in the other. Thanks David

Thanks David I'm no expert in graphics cards, but I understand you get a better performance if you use (and your card supports) DirectX mode, so run it once from the DirectX mode _link_; it'll remember it next time when you use the ordinary Google Earth _link_. Gibraltar is worth exploring when you start playing with the tilt options, by the way! Phil, London

The topology of the Rock makes it a dramatic playground if you tilt the view and fly around it in GE. Plus the beer's cheap and the scuba diving is the best in the Mediterranean! I'm reasonably certain there are other parts of Spain where you can get cheap beer and other parts of the western Med where the scuba-diving is just as good. I think he was refering to Gibraltar. No mention of Spain

No mention of Spain So was I. If that's not Spain, I don't know what is! Gibraltar isn't in Spain. They do share a border however.
