I am planning on taking a trip next monthk, to Las Vegas...I will be flying there. While im there id like to hit some fields...So i will have to take my equipment with me. Now i dont know what the rules or regulations are for taking a Paintball gun and a nitrogen tank onto an airplane(either as cargo or carry on.) If anyone has had prior experience with this, id appreciate any help you can provide. And...Yes....I did try to ask the airline...but they were not helpful at all. you can send me mail @

Make sure your tanks are totally vented. If you have an on/off then leave it open. If it's a pin and you have a way to leave it open then do that as well. As for how to get it on the plane, Put your equipment in a well padded bag (In your suitcase between all your cloths is good). Clearly label the bag that it has an Air Gun and a CO2 Tank inside, use a bright neon tag if you can. LOCK the bag. (Good idea any ways) Check the bag. When checking the bag declare what is inside it. Say Air Gun and CO2 tank. If they don't drag you off to a little room in the back you should be ok well and fine. Another good idea would be to include a PB magazine inside the bag that is holding all your gear. That way, if a droid opens it up, there is something in there that could help explain what all your stuff is. I usually use curbside check-in, saves the hassle at the counter. I once declared what was inside, the guy didn't care what was inside, he was more interested in the tip that I WASN'T planning on giving him. I have a bunch of friends from Hawaii, they don't have any problems that I know of. I remember their 5-man going home from the Cup last year, they musta had 42 pieces of baggage to ship back, that cart was so full. The counter girl spent a half-hour tagging everything. Kennedy
