I don't think you would be looking for a PART for a wet suit at Wal-Mart. If you had a complaint, I think you'd have no trouble with money back there. I've had all kinds of trouble at one or two dive shops with stuff that had problems. OTOH, I've had very good experiences at most shops. So, it is up to the individual to decide, right? My local dive shop wet suit came with patching material, just in-case anything ripped. Did yours?

While wal-mart sucks mantra are common these days, let me offer another viewpoint. Having traveled to SE Asia and Japan a lot recently, I was struck by the limited selection of most things and the amateurish manner in which retailing takes place. Wal-mart has something like 28,000 sku line items available everyday at low prices, (yes a great deal of there stuff is cheap crap!) but a wide selection and deep inventory of colors models and the like. In other words,......... we Americans be spoiled rotten! The difference is that here in America, it's not against the law for someone to offer a better deal than someone else. -Mike Pelletier.

My local dive shop wet suit came with patching material, just in-case anything ripped. Did yours? I didn't buy anything at Wal-Mart, but I think I could get some patches elsewhere if the suit price was right.
